MEET YOUR HOSTS
Emily Wayland and LaDawna Howard met on TikTok where we both were talking about native plants, pollinators, and biodiversity. We decided to create an additional space - this podcast - where we can dig deeper into these issues, and also identify and share ways that each of us can make a difference. In our own yards, and also working collectively across the United States. LaDawna left the podcast in the summer of 2025, but Emily has continued the show but has paused a regular season for 2026. She hopes to bring the show back in the future with another cohost. Follow us on social media for other updates in the meantime.
