Dog Days

Summer is a busy time for all of us. Personally, I've been wading my way through deep waters of creative projects. This is a good thing, but as I do that it leaves little time for updating a blog.

What have I been up to? Well, an awful lot--and there is more to come. To start, I had a pretty cool logo redesign project this summer for Business Insurers of the Carolinas Pet Insurers Division. I was quite pleased with the results:

I'm also managing the Enchanted Animals community and have been enjoying the early stages of that collaborative project's growth. Here are my last two submissions. I'm delighted to say that both pups have been adopted. Thanks to Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin for their continued collaboration.

The Singular Fortean Society has some very exciting things going on, especially as we approach our favorite time of year. Our audience is growing, and Tobias and I are ecstatic to be attending the Milwaukee Paranormal Convention again this year. This time around, I will have some work on display (pieces TBD) and Tobias will give a talk on the Flying Humanoid sightings he has been reporting on all summer. There are a couple other projects in the works, but I won't spoil all the surprises today.

July's Monster of the Month was el Chupacabra. I had fun drawing them, and learning more about them, too!

Lastly, I've been terrible at planning our wedding which is happening in two months (YIKES!), and hanging out with the pets and the best human in the universe. Bullett had a blast at the dog park recently. That little guy sure knows how to smile.

Until I finally blog again,
