Wayne the Woodpecker

Meet Wayne W. Woodpecker! Interestingly enough there was a Democratic lawmaker from Janesville that served in the assembly for around 30 years named Wayne W. Wood.

He’s a Pileated Woodpecker and his favorite thing to do is knock on doors, I’m sure you’ve heard him and his kind do that before!

Wayne believes that one of the best ways to meet voters where they are is by canvassing—knocking doors, talking directly to voters, and hearing what they have to say about the issues. Real life is not the Internet, folks!

He’ll have more to say about this soon, so stay tuned….but until then, make sure you check your voter registration and get yourself a little treat! This timeline is ROUGH, and Wayne recommends some granola bars to take the edge off.
