Pat the Opossum

Meet Pat, the Protest Possum (they/them). Pat's further left than I am, they sometimes call themselves a leftist and are all about taking action and sticking it to the man! Pat also loves astrology, scavenging, eating ticks, and hates it when Flock cameras see them sauntering along the road at night.

Pat is best friends with our mutual buddy Rocco the Raccoon and Greg the Deer, although their influence on Mr. Gregory is questionable as best….as Pat has a tendency to say “Don’t vote, play dead!” and Greg is already apolitical and skeptical of voting! AAARGH!

Pat and I do agree on a lot….but I cannot just get on board with this “punish establishment Dems by not voting” business they tend to put out there, and me and Rocco gotta always take their phone away so they don’t put that irresponsible business on the internets! I can get on board with many of their progressive policy ideas, and Pat does A LOT of work with Rocco on mutual aid….but I keep tryin to tell Pat how Democracy works and if you don’t vote, you’re basically surrendering.

ANYWAY if this possum tells you that voting doesn’t matter and that you shouldn’t vote….PLEASE don’t listen to them!
