Suzanne and Joey Eagle

Suzanne and Joey are the treetop dwelling residents in the neighborhood. Suzanne is divorced and raising her son, Joey, as a single mom. Thankfully, she’s made pretty good friends with Delores and has learned how awesome it is to live in a community that helps each other! (Suzanne’s ex Harold is a MAGA bird and a bit of a deadbeat that screeches about how “Patriotic” he is and how much he “LOVES AMERICA”)

Suzanne has also had to face the challenges of raising a young eagle chick in this timeline—where much of the news is scary, and people in charge are doing very bad things. It’s been hard for her to talk to little Joey about everything that is going on….but she keeps it honest and reminds him to look for the helpers, just like Mr. Rogers talked about.
